Who
Gabriel Kositsky, O.G Technology. Based in Israel.
Why LoanWise exists
I built LoanWise while I was apartment hunting. I kept re-typing the same numbers into web calculators that reset every time I changed a tab, couldn't show me two options next to each other, and couldn't model an index-linked loan at all. I wanted something that let me move one slider and see what actually changed. That's the app.
Response Time
I read every email. LoanWise is a one-person project, so replies usually take about four business days.
Before you email
- Most questions are already answered on the support page.
- Bug reports — include your device model, OS version, and what you'd entered when it happened. That's usually the difference between a fix this week and a fix never.
- Feature requests — genuinely welcome. A lot of what's in the app came from people who wrote in.

What LoanWise is and isn't
LoanWise is a calculator. It shows you what a loan's payments look like given numbers you supply. It isn't financial advice, and I'm not a licensed advisor, broker, or lender — I'm a developer who got tired of bad calculators.
The projections it produces, particularly for variable-rate and index-linked loans, are estimates based on assumptions you set. They're for comparing scenarios, not predicting one. Before you sign anything, talk to your lender and, ideally, someone qualified.
